Llimonaea sorediata forme des murs en béton ou en ciment.
This form, rather rare, is found on cement or concrete walls of chapels near the seashore, always next to old walls colonized by Llimonaea sorediata chapel wall form and Dirina massiliensis forma sorediata. Characterized by white-greyish prothallus (instead of black, unless on contact with another species), numerous pink soralia, notably towards thallus center. On this alkaline substratum, almost always associated with Dirina massiliensis forma sorediata. which presents a hypothallus and brownish soralia, but some specimens of these two taxa can resemble each other so much that they are then very difficult to separate from each other, the crossed and quantitative characters usually used then being unusable, identifications are therefore given subject to more efficient analyzes.
