Enterographa hutchinsiae Cf. forme des rochers côtiers humides.

Synonyms:

Family: ROCCELLACEAE

Habitat: Aerohaline zone

Description

We present here some morphological forms of Enterographa hutchinsiae ss. auct. brit. coming next to the type in the same habitats: humid low-acid schist rocks and in the shade of ravines or coastal cliffs of hyperoceanic forests, they differ from the type by macroscopic characters (coloration and appearance of the thallus, shape and arrangement of apothecia, ...) but are connected to it by intermediaries. NB See however the following species: Opegrapha lithyrga, which occurs in the same places but all the apothecia of which are narrow lirelles arranged in relief on the thallus, Enterographa pitardii of dry walls and also the forms of Enterographa pitardii coming on the rocks (all these taxa deserve to be revised).
