Pectenia plumbea (Light.) P.M. Jørg., L. Lindblom, Wedin & S. Ekman morpho isidié Cf.

    This form collected in an oceanic forest could be Pectenia plumbea morpho isidié in the broad sense of the French authors, it is similar to Pectenia plumbea morpho plumbea except for the presence on the thallus, particularly in the center, of numerous concolorous isidioid granules. Taxon of mossy trunks of humid oceanic forests, coming in the vicinity of Pannaria rubiginosa, Lobaria scrobiculata, Lobaria pulmonaria, etc.

N.B There are passing forms with Pectenia plumbea morpho plumbea.

N.B. As a curiosity, this taxon can serve as a host for Normandina pulchella.

N.B. In the strict sense of the French authors this taxon would be Mediterranean but the Pyrenean taxon presented here seems to us quite representative of the name... but this whole group deserves a more in-depth study to try to see more clearly!
