Description
     This form is characterized by its flattened branches, the ends of which are very divided and take on a palmed deer horn aspect. The characteristic nodules of Ramalina siliquosa chem. crassa are absent or inconspicuous but sometimes there are a few twigs, especially at the base, typical of Ramalina siliquosa chem. crassa. Rare form occurring on vertical walls of siliceous rocks near the sea, usually in shade and with other forms of Ramalina siliquosa chem. crassa whose form is linked by intermediaries.
