Buellia subdisciformis (Leight.) Vain. forma

Synonyms:

Family: PHYSCIACEAE

Habitat: Aerohaline zone

Description
Differs from the type by its diforme or muriform apothecia formed by the agglomeration of several apothecia. Spores 15-20 x 8-10 µm according to our measurements. C-, K + yellow then red, P + yellow-orange. This form of shade comes under the overhangs located to the north of the large granite rocks at the edge of the sea. NB This taxon may be parasitized (in particular by Syncesia myrticola) like a certain number of species which accompany it in this habitat particular because it is close to other "normal" specimens of Buellia subdisciformis, but which are found in more sunny areas.
