Fuscidea cyathoides var. sorediata (H. Magn.) Poelt
Differs from the Fuscidea cyathoides var. cyathoides type by the presence of irregularly distributed rounded to oval soralia, 0.5-2 mm diam., yellow-greenish, brown-greenish. This variety grows either isolated or in extensive mosaics with the type, on more or less smooth siliceous rocks (Armorican sandstone) in very exposed areas of capes and heads of western Brittany.
