Wahlenbergiella striatula forme verte.
This rather common morph is characterized by its thallus, green or tinged green, without -or almost without- ribs and ridges, its smaller and less angular perithecia, with less open apices. May grow together with the type, but most often alone, in more well-lit areas, less beaten by the waves, almost systematically together with the crustose red algae Hildenbrandia rubra. Many intermediate specimen with the type may be found. Not to be confused with Verrucaria halizoa of which the thallus is smooth, without ribs and ridges and less angular and more irregular perithecia.
