Paralecanographa grumulosa forme parasite de Dirina massiliensis forma sorediata taxon atlantique.

    Rather common, on old walls of old chapels near the seashore. Thallus markedly irregular embedding fragments of the host thallus of Dirina massiliensis forma sorediata (including soredia that then may be found on the parasite thallus).

N.B. These host thallus fragments may be confusing when analysing results of chemical spot tests. Morphology of this form is highly variable, notably apothecia that fluctuate from grumulosa form to hemisphaerica form (see pictures).
