Pertusaria multipuncta (Turner) Nyl.
Thallus crustose, rather thick, smooth to slightly cracked and wrinkled, greyish, grey-greenish, sometimes with a paler prothallus, coarsely warted, warts scarce and scattered, 0.5-2 mm tall, tips more or less plane, covered with whitish soredia, more or less abundant hiding apothecia. Apothecia punctiform, (1)2-3(5) at tip of warts, disc 0.5 mm diam., brown. Ascii 1-spored. Ascospores narrowly ellipsoid, thick walls, to 4-5 µm, 90-170 x 30-70 µm. Thallus and soralia: C-, K+ yellowish, KC+ yellow, P+ bright orange, UV-. This species has oceanic trends and grows on smooth and acid barks of deciduous trees in humid woodlands.
