Gyalecta jenensis forma
This form differs from the type of Gyalecta jenensis var. jenensis by the size of its spores: 24-30 x 10-15 µm according to our measurements, intermediate between that of Gyalecta jenensis var. jenensis (12-25 x 6-10 µm) and that of Gyalecta jenensis var. macrospora (30-40 x 10-16 µm). Asci of 125-145 x 20-25 µm according to our measurements, with 8 spores. Its thallus is dirty whitish, tinged with greenish or pinkish. This form comes at the base of calcareous or weakly acidic rocks, sheltered, moist and in the shade, of the aerohaline zone (sometimes with Herteliana gagei).
