Lithocalla ecorticata (J.R. Laudon) Orange Cf.
Lecanora ecorticata J.R. Laudon
Lepraria ecorticata (J.R. Laudon) Kukwa
Thallus crustose and leprose, formed by aggregation of non-corticated granules, sometimes cracked in the case of a thick thallus, greenish-yellow if in the light, blue-gray in the shade, discoloring to white deeply, no prothallus. Not fertile. Photobiont: green algae. C-, K+/- yellow, KC+/- yellow, P-. Very rare (or poorly identified?) species found in the crevices, almost always sheltered from light and rain, in siliceous rock walls, also in the cavities of siliceous dry stone walls (without mortar).
N.B. Still critical species whose chemical composition is not well known, for the moment only seems to be known from the seaside.
Cf. Leprocaulon calcicola, very similar but which grows on alkaline rocks or the cement of old stone walls.
N.B. Be careful of Lepraria incana, a much more common species with a similar habitat (and which can come nearby but in brighter areas) but with less green-yellowish coloring with purplish-brown and which is C-, K+/- jaune, KC-, P-.
_ This harvest has not been analyzed, we present it with the usual reservations and with Cf.
