Lecanora campestris subsp. campestris morpho campestris.
It is characterized compared to Lecanora campestris s.l. by its greenish-grey thallus bordered by a whitish hypothallus, its very numerous apothecia, large and sessile in the center of the thallus and increasingly smaller and included towards the periphery of the thallus. Apothecia disc olive-brown, brownish, pale brownish sometimes purple-brown when dry. Very common morphotype found on all kinds of substrates as long as they are not too acidic and in particular old stone walls.
_ To be differentiated from other morphotypes and in particular from Lecanora campestris subsp. campestris morpho atrata with blackish-brown, blackish apothecia, with which it seems related by intermediates.
