Teloschistes chrysophthalmus forme sur substrats artificiels.

Description

    Teloschistes chrysophthalmus is not very sensitive to pollution and can grow on dirty and polluted artificial substrates such as the gel-coat of a wreck of a plastic boat in a marine cemetery, the painted metal walls of maritime works, etc. It is always accompanied by other species of lichens usual in these particular environments.

N.B. It does not seem to come directly on the artificial substrate but on other lichens, in particular crustose, for example on Buellia aethalea forme sur substrats artificiels.
