This thermophilic form has bowl-shaped apothecia with a bulging margin. Colorless spores, 1-septate, slightly curved, kidney-shaped or banana-shaped, 15-21 x 5-7 µm according to the literature, (14) 16-19 x (4) 5-6 µm according to our measurements. It grows on the shrubs of the low coastal vegetation of the Balearic Islands and Corsica, often in the company of Ramalina lacera forme fertile.
