Description
Differs from the type by its apothecia with a brownish, brown, dark brown disc.
With the type, sometimes on the same rock but more in the shade and sheltered from the sun.
N.B. This species can be confused with certain forms of
Myriolecis bandolensis
with dark brown apothecia spotted with dark green which comes on less acidic and sunnier rocks but whose thallus is thicker, whiter and whose colored reactions are negative.
