Thelotrema lepadinum forme saxicole des rochers humides.

    Differs from the type (growing on bark) by its habitat, on mossy and humid rocks in oceanic woodlands. Thallus inconspicuous or restricted to a dull greyish crust invaded by cyanobacteria and algae in between fertile warts, warts clustered, rounded to hemispheric, bearing apothecia on their top.

N.B. A taxon very close to Thelotrema lepadinum forme saxicole des rochers secs but with lower and rounded fertile warts and a thallus invaded by cyanobacteria and algae.
