Collemopsidium elegans forme en rosette.
This rare form presents a thallus arranged in a rosette, brown, brownish, with warts and ridges becoming more or less radiant on the periphery, thallus sometimes fragmented by retraction. Perithecia black, abundant, sub-globular, sometimes urceolate. Strongly resembles Wahlenbergiella striatula with which it may be neighboring, but the latter species has a green thallus and simple spores.
