Phaeophyscia orbicularis forme sur substrats artificiels.

    This form is characterized by its occurrence on artificial substrates in very dirty areas (here a hull of a plastic boat wreck). This form is bluish-brown, bronze when wet, darker brown, almost blackish when dry, it was only found sterile. N.B. Resembles Phaeophyscia nigricans in colors, but the latter is much smaller and has narrower lobes.
