Description

Chemoform devoid of usnic acid with a whitish thallus. May come in mixture with the yellowish form containing usnic acid: Ophioparma ventosa forma ventosa.

Do not confuse with Haematomma ochroleucum var. porphyrium with a thin, powdery thallus and smaller apothecia.
