Cladonia rangiformis forme de souffrance.
This taxon is characterized by the presence of numerous whitish, pointed, globular or lentil growths, sometimes mealy and with the appearance of soredia, it becomes brownish in old age. This taxon occurs in the aerohaline heaths at the top of cliffs very exposed to sea winds and spray and appears to be a suffering form of Cladonia rangiformis var. rangiformis such as Cladonia furcata subsp. subrangiformis with which it can cohabit and share this particular habitat.
