Collemopsidium halodytes forme saxicole sur roche silicatée.
This form is distinguished by its occurrence on more or less hard silicated rocks. It is characterized by its thin, smooth, transparent, non-endolithic, light brown thallus and its perithecia also non-endolithic and only as if placed on the substrat. These sometimes irregular and flattened perithecia are provided with a wide and flared ostiole. The thalli very often form mosaics and are then separated by a lighter space not in relief.
