Agonimia tristicula (Nyl.) Zahlb.
Thallus squamulose, with squamules 0.1-1 x 0.5 mm width, 0.1-1mm heigth, crowded, more or less contiguous, flat or convex, sometimes slightly erected, round-shape extremities bearing sometimes granular excrescences, upper cortex with minute papillae, grey-brown, grey-green, greenish, but bright green when moist, lower surface paler. Long perithecia (as barrels), 0.3-0.5 mm across, prominent albeit more or less hidden amongst squamules, blackish. Asci 2-spored. Spores elongated, ellipsoid, strongly muriform, 80-120 x 30-50 µm, colourless but brown-yellowish when mature. Photobiont : Chlorococcales. Chemical spot tests negative. Not rare, found on soil, on old walls slightly or non acidic, sometimes on mossy barks of deciduous trees.*
