Ingaderia vandenboomii forme sur verre.
= Llimonaea sorediata forme sur verre.
Very peculiar and rare form, mosaic-forming on unusual subtrata. The specimen presented here were found on stained-glass windows of a small chapel of the Sizun Cape (happily unwashed for quite a long time!) as extensions of large colonies spreading on walls. The mycelium spreads over the substratum thanks to radiating dendrites-like or macramé-like excrescences, surrounded by a wide, smooth and black (sometimes belted) prothallus. Soredia rare, beige-pink, clustered towards the center.
N.B. This form is quite similar to certain forms of Dirina massiliensis forma sorediata but its blackish hypothallus, its dark pinkish-beige color and its slender thallus are rather in favor of a form of Ingaderia vandenboomii (Llimonea sorediata) (if the selected characters are reliable!).
