Hypogymnia tubulosa forme saxicole

   This morph differs from the canonical type growing on trees by its habitat, i.e. rocks near the seashore. Its thallus is less wrinkled and pleated towards the center and the soralia may be so developed that they completely cover some parts of the thallus.*
