Lecanora sulphurea forme parasite de Tephromela atra ou de Lecanora gangaleoides
Usually Lecanora sulphurea starts as a parasite on Tephromela atra, at least when young, as shown in the following examples; far less often parasite on Protoparmelia montagnei and on Buellia aethalea s.l. N.B. Diploschistes caesioplumbeus is also a parasitic species of Tephromela atra. Lecanora sulphurea often competes with (and even seems to be a parasitic species of) Diploschistes caesioplumbeus !*
