Ramalina cuspidata var. stenoclada p.p.
Characterized by its chemical reactions: C-, K+ yellow > red, KC+ yellow-red, Pd+ yellow-orange, UV-. To the naked eyes, tufty, most often pendent but sometimes erect, branches narrow and elongate, seldom terete on their entire length except sometimes at apices, apices pointed. Generally important for determination, colour is ivory to white-cream and apothecia abundant, notably terminal. N.B. Seems, at least in part, to correspond to Ramalina cuspidata Chem. stenoclada.*
