Milospium graphideorum parasite de Lecanographa lyncea
Lecanactis lyncea var. spilomatica Fr. p.p.
Unlichenized lichenicolous Ascomycota
We present here Milospium graphideorum growing on Lecanographa lyncea of which it deeply modifies the aspect, to a point that some authors ranked it as a variety. At the beginning of infestation, very often, a peripheral brown necrotic zone may be observed that should not be mistaken with a prothallus. Host habitat: bark at the base of old Quercus.
