Candelariella vitellina forma flavovirella (Nyl.) A. Henderson
This form is preferentially found in markedly humid and nutrich rich habitats. A bright (fluo) green-yellow colour is observed on all sections. The apothecia are first lemon-yellow, then yellow and finally pale brownish. Seems to be linked to the type by numerous intermediate specimen. Scarce and restricted to specific habitats, notably derelict wood fishing boats in remote parts of maritime rivers in Brittany (Abers). N.B. Candelariella coralliza forme lignicole is very similar and restricted to the top of wood bird-perching poles near the seashore.
