Parmelia sulcata forme lignicole

    Differs from the type by its substratum, wood, notably wood poles. On these substrata, usually more bluish when dry and less green when moist than the more common form growing on barks: Parmelia sulcata corticolous form. Under favourable conditions may grow and produce large colonies.*
