  This morph is found on the ground at the basis of rocks in aerohaline zone heathlands and sometimes in cracks on the same rocks when filled with heathland soil (suggesting that they are growing directly on rocks). Rare and restricted to highly exposed capes and heads of Brittany where they may form conspicuous colonies.
