Xanthoria parietina forme lignicole des milieux marins.

    This luxuriant form of Xanthoria parietina s.l., with numerous apothecia  is found on old bark of trees or on bare wood poles near the foreshore. According to the substratum where the poles are sticked into, dry sands or salted moist silts, forms and colours may vary: yellow to grey-greenish when dry and golden yellow when moist. All intermediate specimen may be found.
